QUICK, PACK!

SUNDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2010.

The days leading up to Paris have been both exciting and nerve racking at the same time. Having a hand in for DVC on the same day as leaving meant there wasn't a lot of time to focus on the excitement side of things, until literally the last minute when I finally finished my work!
I was so relieved, and started packing as quickly as possible before Jo arrived with her suitcase ready to go!

Suitcases at the ready!

In terms of a fashion perspective, it is amazing just how influential Paris is for the Spring/Summer '10 trends. At Topshop, one of the main trends for the season is Parisian, which is pretty self explanatory! Navy is the dominant colour, with stripes and polkaodts being the main patterns on garments varying from dresses to cardigans. The Eiffel Tower is a decorative feature found on so many items, including small repeated patterns on tees, and sequin embroidered vest tops. As you can see, there is definitely enough stripes, navy, and gold trinket buttons to get you in the mood for a bit of Paris! Ooh La La!

Packing was a case of grab and go, warm clothes at the ready.
Finally, I was ready to go!
